Charles Barnes, PA-C has been board certified thru the NCCPA since 2003. Having grown up locally, he completed his undergraduate education in Nashville, TN at Lipscomb University and received a Masters of Medicine from Trevecca Nazarene University as a Physician Assistant.   After practicing emergency medicine for over 6 years, he transitioned to orthopedic sports medicine at the Andrew’s institute in 2011.  From there, he worked 3 years of orthopedic trauma and in 2015 he and his family moved to the Dominican Republic to do full time medical missions with CURE International where they focused on children with club foot abnormalities and limb length discrepancies. His time in the Dominican was also spent working with MLB farm clubs doing pre and post signing orthopedic physicals.  He has been working with Dr Kronlage since his return.
